Night Camera

Our night camera gives us a peek at the wildlife visiting the gardens after dark, especially around Joe’s tree. It’s lovely to discover the little visitors sharing this special space while we’re tucked up in bed!

A little love for our pond

The Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust visited to help clear reeds and give our pond a tidy-up, making room for wildlife to thrive. They also planted water lilies, giving us something lovely to look forward to as they begin to emerge in spring!

Ekojoggers

Fresh air, friendly faces and a Sunday run

Join Dawn and John on Sundays at Ekojoe Barista at 9.15am, ready to run at 9.30am. All levels and abilities are welcome, whether you’re finding your feet or already love a good run. Come along, meet the gang and enjoy moving together!

The Ekojoggers are also taking on the Run Festival at Victoria Park, with four of the group running the 10K and Dawn tackling the half marathon. We’ll be cheering them on.

Parking for your visit

There’s no parking on-site at Ekojoe, but there are some nearby options marked on the map opposite. Please park considerately and keep our neighbours’ driveways and farmers gates access clear.

Thank you, we look forward to seeing you!

Community Events

Bringing our community together

Every now and again, we host community events at Ekojoe, with free entry or a small donation to help support our gardens. They’re a lovely chance to meet new people, catch up with neighbours and enjoy time together in nature. Whether you come with friends or pop along on your own, there’s always a friendly welcome.

Our recent Ceilidh was full of laughter, dancing and wonderful community spirit—so much fun, even when we weren’t quite sure which way to turn! A big shoutout to Josh and Jake form House of Circus for giving their time and the phenomenal fire show for 2 of our recent Ceilidhs
